Dry itchy armpits

So I've been suffering with this on and off for about 2 months now, I have a slight pink patch of dry skin under each arm but not directly in the pit area, more to the outside of the pit on the upper arm if that makes any sense!

I changed to wild deodorant before I had any issues, but didn't find it working for me so changed back to normal roll on, I even tried the biosense stuff and then this started. It's so sore and uncomfortable, any ideas or advice on how to calm it down please.

Following as I have the same!

Try switching back to Wild. It takes a while to get used to, but it does make a difference. I also found shaving aggravated them.

Stop shaving. No deodorant for a bit. Bring change of tops and wash with warm flannels and very gentle soap during the day if you get smelly.
Use a tiny bit of hydrocortisone cream to calm things down.
Use Bepanthen once itchy stops.

Going forward use a very gentle deodorant in can only use dove with no scent.

I use no scented soap at all.

I've had similar and solved it with anti fungal cream. Can get OTC at chemist.

For me that was a side effect of perimenopause. Obviously depends on your age!

I had something like that from using natural deodorant made from bicarb. It burned the skin.

Me too! Ever since I started using natural deodorant. I haven’t gone back though. I use steroid cream about once a week

So a little update, it's been really sore today, I can't get in with GP for another 2 weeks as it's a minor issue so I was sent to the pharmacist. He's suggested it's something called intertrigo and given me a cream called Daktacort or something, it's an antifungal and steroid in one. He's said that maybe the change of deodorant from natural back to antiperspirant triggered a dryness that's now caused this. Should clear up in a few days 🤞🏼
