Hormonal poops/Bowel movements?

Hi all - how's everyone doing?

Does anyone here, who experience's periods, do you notice the change/consistancy of your poop/bowel movements, from the shift from ovulation phase, to the luteal phase? I just seem to get quite gassy with the urge to poop.

i otherwise feel ok, but it has just made me wonder if it IS a shift in hormones as i start PMS - i'm midway through my cycle.

any thoughts?

Thanks all,
Laura

Dr raj does explain about fluctuating hormones throughout your cycle towards the end of this vid which does affect bowels.
I can’t find the actual video I want to post, and this one focuses more on actual periods, but yes, DH used to know I was due because of my increase in flatulence and change in bowels 😂
