Period for 3 weeks in a month

Hey ladies,
mum currently on day 12 of my “period” which has been light bleeding for the whole duration.
I also had my period for 9 days before this too.

does anyone know what this could come down to?
so out of a month I’ve had my period for 3 weeks of it

Are you peri menopause age? Could you be low in iron?

I would see your GP if you haven’t already.

I’m 23 so I presume not 😂

My periods used to go on for weeks and weeks in my 20s and I ended up with a PCOS diagnosis. Definitely worth seeing the GP and getting the ball rolling.
