I am due to have GA on Tuesday as they tried local and I nearly passed out - bad reaction to the local anaesthetic I think. I've got CGIN (where the abnormal cells are high up the cervix), so I know they'll get whatever they can removed. Hopefully all of it!
Has anyone recently had one done under GA? I am feeling anxious about it, so just need the realistic stories really. What was it like after? How long did you take to recover from the anaesthetic? Did you have a lot of bleeding and pain? I know it isn't a big deal and is common but I havent been knocked out by GA since I had teeth out 20+ years ago!
