First period after endometriosis laparoscopy?

I had endometriosis excision surgery 2 weeks ago today. I’m due my period anytime from now onwards but I’ve never experienced this before - will my period still arrive on time or can it delay it? Does it affect the first period pain and heaviness wise?

Had the same surgery and removal of cyst on Friday.
My period arrived Sunday early

Not going to lie it's been the worst I've ever had but they did warn me that the first one after would be more heavy and painful x

Not to scare you but prepare for 3 horrible periods.... just tell yourself that will pass too... my first period arrived right away after surgery when it was due anyway.... but anything is possible
