What time do you fall asleep?

Just that really! I’m zonked every night by 9:30pm, can’t seem to watch a series on the TV anymore because I ALWAYS fall asleep. My partner is fed up of starting anything with me 😂. My day starts about 6:30am. I have a 15 month old toddler who’s non stop from 7am - 7:30pm. I work part time in a job that is never ending. We have a dog and I’m generally active by exercising most days. Sometimes I wonder if I’m “too tired” in the evenings and was curious to know about others routines?! I have a generally low heart rate but don’t really feel tired until the evenings.

I never go to bed before 11pm, often nearer midnight, but I have quite a sedentary job so I'm never 'exhausted' by the end of the day. Also I'm really not a morning person so don't get up until 7.30 at the earliest.

If you're up at 6.30 and full on all day, bed by half nine doesn't sound mad to me.

10.30-11, alarm goes off at 6.30am

Around midnight ... I wake at 6.30am, work and have a 1yo and 2yo. I am quite active.

Everyone is different I guess.

Usually around 2/3 in the morning but that's because I'm an insomniac with an overactive thyroid so even though I feel shattered all day I still can't sleep. I also have a very energetic 2 year old so could completely see going to bed at 9:30 if I was normal 😅

Around 11.30pm, I have a 4 year old who is disabled before going to bed I do my little one's midnight meds, then get up at 4am to turn him, 6am meds again, 6.30am get up for the day (that's a good night, sometimes he's awake for the day just as I go up to bed). Some nights I cave and go to bed at 8 and set an alarm for the meds round at midnight.

This sounds tough. What a wonderful mum you are🥰

10 on a good night, 11ish getting too late. Up 7. Your tiredness levels sound normal but for me I never let myself fall asleep on the sofa. If I do I feel horrible and don’t rest well.

NailsHairNipsHeels · 17/11/2024 21:54

Midnight is an early night for me. I'm usually between 0100 and 0130
Sometimes as late as 0300
I run on about 4-5 hrs sleep a night

midgetastic · 17/11/2024 21:55

When DD was little I used to go to bed really early just to get the sleep I needed

mammaCh · 17/11/2024 22:28

11ish, get up 6.30ish but get a lot less sleep than the amount of hours I'm in bed
