6 week post c section stitches came out with period???!

I’m 6 week post c section. Lochia bleeding stopped around 4 week. Today I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was a lot of blood and this stitch (pic attached)
i didn’t bleed again till around 6 hours later when I went to the toilet and there was a lot of blood on the tissue again. I’ve stuck a pad on and now it’s just light in the pad and more when I wipe.
has this ever happened and is it normal?!
I see my GP in 3 days for my 6 week check up. I’m in no pain but a little concerned I’ve opened inside.

After 6 weeks the incision will be fully knitted together and most of the dissolvable sutures will have just dissolved. If it is a suture, it might just be the end of a thread that, as the sutures have dissolved, has come out, rather than being absorbed.

Thank you that’s made me feel a lot better. It is knotted so it does seem like an end bit
