Low bruised feeling cervix

Hi everyone,

just wanted to start of by saying I’m 14 months pp from a forceps delivery. I’ve noticed since my son was born things feel different down there. The front wall feels saggy but I have no bulge. But my cervix seems so low! It’s like 2/ 2.5 knuckles in? I could never reach it before having my son.
has anyone else’s cervix got lower after giving birth? Also should it feel bruised and sore to touch still?

Hi, just wondering if you ever go any answers? I’m 12 month postpartum and can also feel my cervix and pretty sure I couldn’t before!

I just got told it sits lower after birth apparently it’s really common! I must admit it’s gone up a little more with more time but it’s still allot lower.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. That’s good to know. The joys of being a woman! This is actually my 4th baby, you’d think I would have noticed sooner 😬

Haha yeah what joys 🤣
I only probably know because I tore badly and keep checking down there lol! If I cough it doesn’t move so it’s not prolapsed thankfully. I think everything just changes so much down there afterwards.
