Hair thinning, growing in unwanted places, tests ok, could it be the mirena coil?

Have had lots of gynae problems for the last four years; since my DD was born.

I have been bleeding lots, bleeding between periods etc.
Had various tests including blood tests, ultrasounds, transvaginal scans, hysteroscopy, d&c and biopsy… all of which came back normal including my regular smear texts and blood tests.

The last resort was the mirena coil. I can’t say it’s solved all those problems but it has helped a little bit. Had for almost two years.

Anyway, life’s been busy and I’ve just seen a picture of myself and was shocked how much scalp you could see!!

I usually chuck my hair up in a bun etc so haven’t really noticed but wow, it’s so much thinner generally all over, but is mainly thinning at the sides and front. A little bit on top too. I used to have such thick hair.

I have hairs on my neck, chin, moustache, tummy… all which are thick and black. I also have little hairs on my boobs! I have to pluck/dermaplane every day.

GP And gynae just dismiss when I tell them about the body hair, according to them I dont have anything like thyroid issues, anemia or PCOS.

I am low in Vitamin D though.

Never mentioned about the hair because to be honest I have only just noticed how bad it’s got.
I’m 35, overweight and the diagnosis from
various gynaecologists is “hormonal issues” for the bleeding.

if all the tests are ok, what else can I do? I don’t take my vitamin d tablets properly to be honest, sometimes I forget but I got some more yesterday and I will take them properly.

Could it be the mirena? I really can’t get it removed as its helped my bleeding go from constant to every few weeks with only a little bit of spotting, and it’s no where near as bad as it was.
