Turn around poor coaching?

Any advice on how I can turn get the best out of a final coaching session? It's the last of four health/nutrition coaching sessions and so far I've been unimpressed. The 'coach' was literally out for lunch on our last session and ordering her food while online to me. First session she wanted to leave early because her boob job was wonky and she wanted to visit her surgeon before a holiday, second session she was on holiday so the signal was poor. She fast paces irrelevant info at me and has never asked any personal questions at all, it's hard for me to get a word in! She says things like "That's why you're fat" while talking about junk food but I actually don't eat junk food and am not over weight, I would like to loose some fat though. The overall ethos of what she's saying suits me but the coaching is dire. Do I sit through the last session and write it off as a poor choice or can I get something more from it? Half of me can't even be bothered to log on.

Can you cancel the last one and get a refund? It sounds awful!

JayEffSee · 31/10/2024 06:52

She sounds rubbish. What are her qualifications, experience, reviews etc like?

I'd just cut my losses and not bother even turning up for the final session tbh.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get a refund, there's a 24hour cancellation policy. I did think briefly about what to do after the last session but I'm not sure you can work with someone who lack so much self awareness. I do like the advice in the whole package so I might just write off the coaching as a poor extra. It's a shame as I was looking for some good coaching but realise I can spot where I can make improvements/changes better on my own.

Anyone else with suggestions to turn the last one around or just ditch?

Just ditch it. Coaching is largely MLM these days isn't it? Did you check her qualifications?

Write it off as a poor purchase and move on.

Ditched it. Poor choice on my behalf, not sure how I could have done anything else. She's not a good coach (I've had excellent coaches in different areas) and it was just bad luck.

I don't usually leave negative reviews but she sounds awful. I wouldn't want others to fall for it! I would also request a refund, explaining why.
