Tranexamic Acid

Hi I've been bleeding for over 2 weeks now. Proper flooding and blood clots. I'm tired and probably anaemic.

I've been prescribed Tranexamic Acid and it works but I'm scared incase when I come off it, it's going to make me bleed even more and have massive pains like I do when I come off norethisterone.

I have endometriosis, pcos, adenomyosis and a few polyps which I'm waiting to get removed.

Please does anyone know if TA has this effect?

I'd say coming off it would cause you to bleed how to did before taking it. I wouldn't say it would be worse, but bleeding is only reduced for the time you take TA

I didn't have that experience at all. I only took it on the days I was very heavy. It was a total godsend for me.
