Hi Ladies - I wanted to post to see if anyone else has had this and what the outcome of colposcopy was. I have been HPV positive since 2017 cells have always been fine. I was always tested annually, up until 3 years ago where I had a colposcopy and everything was fine so the gynae said to move it to 3 year smears.
Fast forward to this year I received a letter in the post after my smear 2 days ago saying I have HPV and High Grade (Severe) dyskaryosis. Which I believe from a quick google is CIN2/3. Whilst I am not in panic mode as I can't let this drain me until I know the outcome I wondered if this was cancer cells would they have picked this up at the smear test. I have gone from only ever being HPV positive to having a high grade of abnormal cells which does concern me. I have a little boy and am a healthy person - I think I am just in shock with my cell results and was hoping for some reassurance away from google 💞
