Im looking for advice/experience/reassurance please.
in January I had my usual smear call, had my test and waited for the results. Results came back HPV and low grade so was invited for a colposcopy. I wasn’t afraid of this as I’d had this before several years ago.
so, I went to my colposcopy pretty chilled and then they took a biopsy. This shook me as I wasn’t expecting it. I then caught an infection from this which was awful, I was so poorly!
Anyway, results came back showing high grade/cin2 and I needed a LEEP. The procedure was fine and they told me
they had removed all precancerous cells and I would have a repeat smear in 6 months.
I had this repeat smear in September and today got the results, HPV and low grade abnormal cells again and invited for another colposcopy.
I don’t know what to think, this will be my 4th colposcopy. Im so worried. Will they need to take another biopsy, do another LEEP?
if anyone has experience in this same situation, please let me know because im
terrified.
