I've been having bleeding during cycle for some time, had scan to rule anything sinister out. Last 3/4months, heavier bleeding lasting 10-14 days(use to only have spotting) and then also spotting throughout. I've had it in 3 years and this is my 2nd one. I spoke to them today and they've suggested the mini pill alongside for 3 months and then stop it to see if that settles things down abit. Or I could have the mirena taken out.
Part of the reason for the mirena was to sort out my heavy periods. It's still in place. Anyone else had this?
