Worsening periods since losing weight

Has anyone else's cycle completely changed after weight loss?
When I turned 30 (I'm now 33) my periods all of a sudden lightened. And became shorted 2-4 days bleeding. I've never had bad cramps just a dull ache, but that completely resolved to. I thought I was starting peri.

Over the last 6 months I've lost 2 stone. (Intentionally as I was slightly over weight) And my god, my periods have turned horrific.
Very heavy and the pain is like labor. Horrific lower back ache, cramp in abdomen. Today I couldn't sit properly as the pain was radiating into my buttocks. I pass large clots and also have extremely painful breasts from a week before I'm due to when I finish. Periods lasting 2-3 days. It's like my cycle has done a u-turn. I never used to mind having my period but now I dread it and can't leave the house as I'm so exhausted from the pain.
