Fibroid Advice

Hi I have recently been diagnosed with a blood clot relating to a uterine fibroid. The fibroid caused very heavy bleeding /clots for a few years. I was given a couple of transfusions and an iron infusion. I am currently on blood thinners only. Surprisingly the bleeding has stopped for the first time. I am not sure why. Has this happened to anyone before? Can any one advise ? Is the bleeding likely to start up again?

I have had the same issue. Single, submucosal fibroid. 5 years of intense bleeding, clotting, etc. I had an unsuccessful ablation and myomectomy 2 years ago. The subsequent anemia, with a ferritin of 3 at its worst, has been my biggest challenge (especially for my hair)
I did not develop a blood clot though.
My bleeding is starting to noticeably reduce. I’m 52 and expect that I am nearing.menopause. The last few years of perimenopause I have been estrogen dominant and fibroids are fueled by estrogen.
