Bowel movement setting off vaginal bleeding

I have been constipated for a few months on and off (due to dieting).

When I have a difficult bowel movement it has been setting off vaginal bleeding (I think) and I am often bleeding inbetween periods.

I am also for the first time experiencing period type pains with the bleeding and have had cramps so far every day this month (been keeping a diary).

Do you think this is anything to worry about.

I'm 39, have had 2 children (youngest is 3) and had a retained placenta which had to be manually removed.

I am also on the mini pill and have been since my youngest was born.

Thank you ☺️

I think you need to see your GP. The bleeding could be from an anal fissure if you’re not totally sure where it’s coming from, but the cramps are a different thing. Regardless, you should ask a medical professional if you’re bleeding like this.
