Lletz: multi disciplinary meeting

I had an Lletz procedure a few weeks ago for CIN3. I was expecting histology results to confirm that's what was removed and that I'll need 6 monthly smears. Instead I've received a letter saying my case needs to be reviewed by a multidisciplinary team in a few week's time and I'll here back about my care.plan after that.

The letter is vague and the secretary at the clinic couldn't give much further detail, apart from a possible discrepancy with results.

Feeling very anxious, has anyone else had the same?

I wouldn't panic
They did MDT meeting with me for an ovary cyst and it was nothing
Currently waiting on one for endometriosis and it's just to decide the best course of action

Thank you, reassuring to hear that they hold these for less urgent things! I've had so many issues with infection and bleeding since the procedure, receiving such a vague and serious sounding letter got me in a spin.

Yeah I was very much "why are you all talking about me?!" and it turned out to be nothing
