What could this pain be

I am on Buscapan due to IBS but even whilst on it I’m still experiencing pain in my lower right side and back, just minus the excessive toilet use. I also get pains in my knees or legs. If I walk up or down a slope or hill, the aftermath causes my joints to hurt even if it doesn’t at the time. I’m not talking about a big hill or a mountain, but like a road that goes up or down a small hill for example. I’m not an old woman but my mobility is really limited. It gets worse around the time of ovulation or my period. I can’t really pin point it and don’t know if other symptoms I have are related. It’s not a UTI as I’ve had that before and it hurt to pee as well and it hurt too much to walk. Different kind and level of pain. That is why my GP suggested I try the buscapan first to work out what is causing what symptoms. the pain is also increasing my anxiety levels. I’m not sure what it might be or if there is anything I can do to get about more

Endometriosis?

Are you at a healthy weight for your height? Weight can cause pain in those areas.

It might be endo. My periods are terrible. I am about 12 stone and eating a lot of junk lately which I told myself I wouldn’t do so that might be it. I will need to make a plan to turn it around

I'm similar weight to you actually and get some pains in those areas, even a little extra weight can put pressure on joints. It might be worth exploring with your GP because it could be something else entirely- good luck.

I lost a bit of weight recently, only a few kilos, but it has really improved the aches and pains in my joints.
