Cycles getting longer…

I have always had a standard 28 day cycle. Forever. The last two cycles have been around 38 days and now I’m on day 35 with no signs. Has anyone had this? I’m 36.
waiting on blood tests from GP but feeling a bit rubbish about this!

What issues are you having? Just longer cycles and nothing else? How long has it happened? (As I'm how many times has it gone longer ). Also how many days has it gone longer from your baseline - 33, 37 or is it random?

What are your periods like before? What are they like now?

I'd go to your GP, you need to get a transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound - could be fiborids or other things. Also if the bleeding is too heavy, I'd ask the GP for tranexamic acid, which can massively reduce heavy bleeding. In the long-term a mirena coil can be a good option - it thins the uterus lining and so less bleeding and cramps?

Last 3 cycles 35,37 and 40 days long. Normally textbook,28 days long. Don't understand why it would change. Appt at gp next week for blood panel.
