Endo ladies! What embryo transfer protocol worked for you?

Hi everyone, I’m new here!

Looking for women with endo who had IVF success.

I have stage 4 endometriosis and recently had a laparoscopy to remove my right tube which was damaged due to endo.

This cropped up mid IVF cycle, thankfully after I had frozen 9 embryos. Now looking to transfer my first one and have been given the option of either a natural FET or a down regulation and then medicated FET. For those of you with endo who had success with IVF, what protocol worked for you?

thank you so much 🙏🏻

@Tryingforachance Praying for you 🙏Your post is what I needed today.

I've just had a call from the Dr and after 2 MRI's and an internal scan - i have Endometriosis - maybe stage 4. I can't stop crying, feeling very deflated.

I wanted to ask, how long did it take until you were referred for a laparoscopy? How was the process for you?

I have an appointment in 2 weeks for another internal scan. From there, hopefully a plan.

Thank you 🙏

@Gace Thanks so much for replying.

So sorry to hear this. I managed to get a really speedy laparoscopy on the nhs because I was midway through an IVF cycle, so I only waited 3 weeks. But the usual wait in my area is a year sadly. It could be worth looking into private options if you are in a rush or seeing if you have any access to claim on private medical insurance?

I would really recommend ordering and trading the book ‘heal with endo’, it helped me so much and there is so much you can do to try and calm your condition alongside surgical intervention. Good luck xx

We’re now at the stage where we’ve been booked in for IVF criteria appointment, I’m a little anxious about it but I suppose that’s expected. I’ve had another scan and it looks like my endo’s close to my ovaries so I will be referred to the Endocrinologist team in the meantime. My AMH is at 6.9 so that gives me some hope 🤗
Fingers crossed for us 🙏🏿

@Gace great to hear you have made some progress. To my huge surprise, I have fallen pregnant spontaneously in November. I still have stage 4 endo, I had surgery in September to remove one of my fallopean tubes which has been damaged due to endo (it was a hydrosalpinx). I’m on the waitlist for another endo surgery as it has not been removed other than the tube. It’s early days and I’m only 6.5 weeks but we have never ever managed to get pregnant before and I can only think that a combination of the surgery, and following the protocol in Healing with Endo has made a massive difference for me.

Wishing you all the very best with your journey❤️
