Bartholins Cyst - help!

I went to my GP a few months ago with a bartholins cyst. It wasn’t painful but it was there, about the size of a marble. She told me not to worry and hopefully it would go away but if it didn’t to go back and see her. The next week it became painful. No pus or blood from it. She said she would refer me to gynacology but there is a long wait and to call back if anything changes and she’ll try and push it through quicker. Fast forward another week and it’s starts bleeding. I only got to speak to a receptionist who told me the dr has been informed and it dealing with it. Which I assume to mean she’s contacting gynaecology to push it through. I’ve heard nothing and it’s now bleeding every single day. Do I need antibiotics? Is it infected? Do I call back again and ask to see the dr?

Can you get to a walk in centre or a gum clinic tom push things along a bit and get some answers?

Bleeding doesn’t sound like it’s infected, but that it’s ruptured. The top’s been knocked off or otherwise abraded.

Infected tends to be larger, hotter and very painful ime.
