Nail fungus by the looks of it.

You can buy curanail online to start treatment.

CMOTDibbler · 02/10/2024 14:14

Its a fungal infection. I assume you've had acrylic nails on?

User628291938949 · 02/10/2024 14:19

So its been there a while? https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/fungal-nail-infection/ NHS advice is to go to the pharmacy and get something like Curanail - but it can take up to a year to work so you'll have to be patient

If this is after removal of acrylic it's likely what they call a 'greenie' which happens when you get lift of the acrylic from the natural nail plate and water gets in and gets trapped. Not sure if it would need treatment as some nail techs say the air and cleaning it gets rid of it just the colour stays. Best to speak to a pharmacist. I would keep them bare, file them down to stop them catching on anything and use lots of cuticle oil as well as anything suggested by the pharmacist
