Night sweats and bleeding back with a vengeance

I'm nearly 58 and was previously on Evorel 75, plus 100mg Utrogestran and was referred to Gynae for continuous on/off bleeding.

This was the letter sent, after the appointment, from the Consultant, to my GP.

"I met with XXXXXX in my clinic on 20 June 24. I understand she was referred to this clinic as she was having some odd bleeding. On history taking, it became obvious that she takes the Evorel patch and she adds 25 days of progesterone in the form of a tablet.
I am not sure why she is on sequential form of HRT as she is postmenopausal and would benefit from a continuous combined one.
I offered her a hysteroscopy based on the scan suggesting ?focus in the endometrium.
On examination her cervix had a post loop appearance. The cervix was stenosed so I had to dilate it. On hysteroscopy, her uterine cavity looked normal and there was no polyp seen.

I am happy to reassure her and discharge her back to your care.

Yours sincerely"

On the original combination of HRT above, prior to seeing the consultant, I was not having night sweats.

I have since been switched to Evorel Conti 1.5 patches, twice per week, and my night sweats are awful. I've been taking it for about 4 weeks now. Is this just a result of the switch of medication and will it settle? I've also had bleeding almost from the first few days now, again for about 4 weeks. I've spoken to my GP who Meno nurse at my practice on 14th November (not seen her before). I feel like just giving up and going cold turkey. I've been on some form of HRT for about 4 years now. Can anyone else relate? Thanks in advance.

I can definitely relate to everything HRT wise having some kind of side effect, yes, and also to a raging debate over whether I am pre or post menopausal, which has caused a lot of confusion over pathways.

I have no answers, only empathy.
