Provera...for delaying period

Hi everyone

I'm just wondering if anyone has taken Provera for delaying a period for holiday. The GP recommend this one as apposed to Norethisterone.

If you've taken it, how did you find it? Did it work?

Thank you

Yep, me in the last few weeks. Worked very well, however my period started yesterday after stopping pills 10 days ago and it's been horrific. Incredible pain, and have passed my decidual cast (Google if you're of a strong stomach). Can only think it's related.

Oh my gosh, that doesn't sound great. Did you have any side effects when taking them?

Absolutely no side effects when taking them. Really effective, no spotting etc or other symptoms.

You need to take one tablet 3 times a day so just make sure you remember each dose!
