Hi, I came on on Friday morning.
i’m 44, and have heavy periods. I have a fibroid, which is probably why. I also have low ferritin. It was 6, then took 6 months of ferrous fumerate to rise to 13 at last check, I haven’t had a test for around a year.
on Friday evening, I started to bleed though a pad every half hour (including clothes).
friday, Saturday and Sunday I constantly lost fleshy clots, including this (palm size one) just form sitting in the bath.
i had a pre booked (unlinked) hospital appt today at rheumatology and I was so pale they’ve agreed to take my ferritin as part of their bloods. I just saidI’d had a heavy period.
They said they’d phone, at the end of clinic, but haven’t. I assume this is a good thing!
anyway, has anybody else ever had such large fleshy clots? (Razor for scale!) isthis a vaginal cast?
