Hi, my first post here, although long term lurker. I have PCOS which was diagnosed at the age of 16. I am now approaching 40 next year, and this month September has been a nightmare for period bleeding. I usually have one bleeding period a year which for the last few years has been September. They are usually light with spotting and one slightly heavy day, then that'll be it. This year, it started at the end of August with feeling bloated a week before, then ever since I've been bleeding a lot more regularly with more heavier days than light. I am hoping that it'll stop as per normal procedure in a week or two, but I'm slightly nervous that if it carries on, it could be a sign of other things happening. I have been suffering with sore boobs and back/stomach ache, which I know is normal for periods, but I hate having it for a month.
