Inverted nipple

Hey, I’m 4 months PP with seconds baby. My babies are 21 months apart so I’ve been super busy. But I noticed my left nipple looks more inverted then normal. my nipples have always been very flat nearly to the point of being inverted but my left one looks a lot different to the right one now. I’m not sure is the change down to all the changes that happen with having babies or make from pumping with my first baby for the first few weeks.

I’ve been to the doctor today and she has a feel and says it feels fine and doesn’t feel any lumps but will send me for a ultrasound because it’s always good to get these things checked.

But has anyone experienced an inverted nipple and it been nothing sinister, I’m a worrier so this is making me crazy.

thank you

How did this turn out for you? I’ve experiencing something similar and have been referred to the breast clinic. So worried as I’m 7 weeks postpartum.

Hope it turned out to be nothing serious for you!

@RosiePH went to the breast clinic and they looked and had a feel and said that it’s just changes! They did say that normally there only concerned when you have bloody disharge and small painless lump/lumps.

Hope this helps x

I had an inverted nipple and reported it when I went for a mammogram. They did a scan and a biopsy and it was nothing at all. Get it checked but please don’t worry.
