My dd is 15 - nearly 16 and started her periods when she just turned 11. They were pretty regular she says occasionally it would skip but on the whole pretty regular right from the start. I think they sound light but maybe i just have very heavy periods!

i posted here rather than child health as it isnt really a child problem!

she hasnt had any bleeding at all for at least 4 months now. She has had a few fevers in that time the most recent was last week she had a fever of 39-40 for 3 days no idea why. But she is generally healthy i think she is 5 foot 5 and a healthy weight. During one of the fevers she fainted and i called an ambulance - the hospital seemed unconcerned just said she probably hadnt eaten enough or stood up too fast! She does seem pale and tired more often that my other children.

she isnt pregnant she has never has sex i do believe her on this as she is home ed the groups she goes to away from home tend to be with her brother or sister so even if she wanted to opportunities would be limited!

the hospital also tested her for pregnancy which was negative which was 2 months into the no periods time.

i have now emailed the doctor again but im not sure what they will do with her being young i do feel like something is not right with her bit its hard to really say what it could be.

does anyone have any ideas what could be going on here?

She might need her blood sugar and iron checking. Does she eat regularly?

Yes she eats regularly shes within the healthy weight range for her height as well. I did get an appointment for the 8th october to speak to the doctor so hopefully they will be able to arrange blood tests!
