Severe constipation post c section?

Hi has anyone experienced this?
I had c section exactly 12 weeks ago. Initially they thought I had an obstruction as didn't have bowel movement or wind for 3 days and was vomiting large amounts and felt so unwell, anyway after lactulose that resolved and I was discharged.

I was on lactulose 3 times a day for the following 4 weeks or so until it stopped working and bowel movements became difficult and painful.

Developed a fissure which means horrendous pain everytime I go. Then went on lactulose & fybogel twice a day, this helped, I went 2x daily soft and easy to pass. But now 2 weeks ago that stopped working as well even though my diet hasn't changed.

Went to gp who looked like he didn't really believe me that my stools are so solid even though I am taking all these laxatives and he said it wasn't normal. I drink 3L of water a day, 5 portions of fruit & veg, high fibre, healthy diet.

I'm breastfeeding, is this the reason?!

Gp gave me Laxido. Been taking it two days but I've now not had any bowel movement in that time which is stressing me out.

Please can anyone offer any advice? I'm so fed up.

Make sure you take 2 laxido at once, and do it 3 times a day tomorrow and Wednesday. You should be 'moving' by Thursday or Friday.

Oh my god, I had it and the things I had to do to get it out I couldn't possibly repeat lol

I brought dulcolax from boots within a few days I was back to normal

I was terribly constipated after my emcs, I was in high dependency for 3 days, stuffed full of morphine & didn't eat at all in hospital. The day after I came home I needed the toilet but couldn't go, I was having stomach cramps & could feel all the poo moving through my bowels, I ended up sat on the toilet with my mum rubbing my back, the pain was worse than my induced labour, I eventually gave birth to a cricket ball of poo after about 2 hours. My advice is get some dulcoease, take 2 to start off, then 1 every 6 hours up to a maximum of 5 in 24 hours, drink lots of water, eat something like beetroot, I ate some every time I felt bunged up, it really helped. Has your doctor given you some GTN cream for your fissure? When I had one I found that when I needed the toilet & couldn't go soaking in a hot bath or directing the shower head on my bum hole helped me to relax so I could go.
