38 years old. Recommended hormones for irregular bleeding.

Love to hear what would you go for? Mirena? Mini pill or combined pill?

All experiences welcome!

You wont know until u try as its very individual... for some works for others just endless spotting and periods....

Mini pill makes me bleed for months until it settles
I point blank refuse the coil but hear there can be quite a lot of irregular bleeding on that too
I didn't have bleeding on the combined pill and was gutted when I couldn't take it anymore
But everyone's different

Mirena great if it works.

I went for mini pill not much risk, if it doesn't work, try something else, better for late 30's + age, I'm on cerelle and it's fab, best pill I've ever tried, bleeding settled after a week, no more break through bleeding as long as it's taken everyday.

I've also just had an Alblation so hoping that will work longer term.

I have never wanted to risk mirena, it's invasive, it could be painful, risk of it getting dislodged and then waiting for a health care professional to correct it.
