AMH results are stressing me out

Hi guys.

I am turning myself inside out worrying about my egg reserve. I had a MC in July, and have since done 5 Randox home AMH tests. The first result was 30, then 25, then 32, then 21 and now 18. This is all in the space of 2 months. How can this be? All it's done is stress me out massively as we've decided to not try again for a few years due to personal issues (I'm 28) and now I'm concerned I'll have no eggs left in a few months due to these results. I wish I'd never done them as it's just causing me massive anxiety and worry 😢 I keep testing and testing and I'm convinced they are wrong, and they just keep getting lower.

Hi OP, I understand that it's really upsetting to see these numbers, but rest assured it'll be a while before you have "no eggs left". I'm 35; when I was 30 I was horrified to be told that my AMH was 7. It was still 7 last year. I'm still having regular periods and still ovulating. I've also seen comments from women saying they've got pregnant naturally with AMH in the less than 1 area. As long as you're ovulating you can get pregnant.

This is really reassuring to hear, I really hope that's the case. We said early 30's will be perfect (me and my OH are pretty much the same age, we're a month apart), so I hope I'm still fertile then. It's just a constant worry and makes me feel sick, I can't concentrate on anything else and it's really distracting 😫

It might be worth speaking to the GP if it's causing you this much worry -- they can test other things like FSH levels and so on. And I'm not sure I trust the at-home AMH tests!

I had my FSH, LH and oestrogen levels tested at GP - all normal, FSH was 4.4, LH was 4.9 and oestrogen was 363
