red streaks on breast? not breastfeeding.

for the last couple of weeks i’ve had these red streaks on my left breast. I just sort of ignored them as they were harmless looking and fade a bit sometimes but now this morning there’s almost a mirror image formed on the right side too? they’re hard to see in the pictures but they’re actually quite livid red. i haven’t gained or lost weight and im almost 40 so i don’t think stretch marks? they aren’t itchy or painful. What on earth could this be?

I’m guessing if they’re fading out, you’re sleeping on your side a squishing them into whatever you’re wearing?!

definitely no squishing into clothes lol, my idea of hell. i don’t wear a bra at home and when i go out it’s only a molke. but yes i do sleep on my side and front, although i always have and never had these marks before 🤷🏻‍♀️ they’ll stay red for a day or two then fade for another day or two. its the oddest thing. i thought they were just scratches but i definitely haven’t been scratching this morning and the ones on the right have just appeared.
