Sweaty smell

I can’t begin to apologise for how gross this is.

I’ve been away for the summer in a hot country.

At the beginning of the trip, I started to notice a really sweaty smell coming from my underwear when I went to the loo.

For the first few weeks I thought it was vaginal, and was using wipes to freshen up all the time.

I realised after a while though that it was coming from the creases in my thighs!

I’m not a big person at all. If anything I’m underweight! I do carry my weight around my upper legs though so there’s weight on my thighs for sure.

I always wear cotton underwear but it’s still happening, either if I’ve been walking around in the heat or sitting in the heat.

I am so so embarrassed by this and google isn’t giving me any real clues. Anything I find seems to be aimed towards bigger ladies.

I’m sure this hasn’t happened to me in the past when I’ve been in the heat. I shower twice a day, sometimes more, so I’m definitely clean!

What on earth could be causing this. It’s horrifying! I’ve been away 2 months and it’s definitely been happening throughout.

It will be fungal. Try using cannesten in the creases and see if that helps.

Agree re fungal.
If you're actually swearing use anti perspirant

Like just regular deodorant you mean?

Ye, I'm prone to a sweaty groin - another delightful period symptom - I just use my regular spray.

There is a medicated powder that you can buy which is immediately soothing and dries things up! I was once on holiday and noticed similar. Was mortified but was easily fixed.
