Spotting 7 days after period

Hey everyone had my period a week ago went to bathroom earlier an when wiping noticed pinky discharge popped on a panty liner an have noticed just a little bit of spotting on it back is bit achy an was feeling bit irritated an itchy also I had removal of abnormal cells last year smear is now clear but obv that plays on my mind an I'm panicking a bit to see this when I wiped especially since my period was kinda over a day or 2 ago anyone else had this or similar thanks xx

How old are you ?
Things have gone haywire for me literally the month I turned 40
I know it's 100% not cervix related as I've had that checked but like you I've had issues with abnormal cells too
Think it's my hormones

@solice84 I'm 37 I did find after the Lletz procedure my period was a lot more heavy but it's been over a year now since that I am quite stressed at minute so could be that has yours settled any?

My lletz was in 2010 so it won't be connected although the HPV has come back and I've been swinging between CIN1 and clear for 5 years now
Had colposcopy in June and she couldn't see any issues so bleeding isn't related to that
It's been going on for nearly a year now and mine happens in the week before my period
I'm sure it's peri and hormones as my boobs keep getting really tender when the bleeding happens too
I'm going to go back on the mini pill to see if it stops it

@solice84 how frustrating for you yea you could try mini pill I'm not on contraceptives another story but I wouldn't think mines related to Lletz either altho lastnight when this started I had bad backache an then bit of itching feeling so I'd thot maybe infection I'm drinking water trying to flush all out but I guess il have to see how I go just another thing to worry about on my list 😫😊

Spotting after a period is quite normal sometimes
i sometimes spot when I have thrush have you tried thrush pill to ease the itchiness in case it’s that

@Melonjuice I havnt it's only started yesterday evening so I was actually thinking of getting something for thrush as had seen it can cause all this can you buy over the counter?any recommendations?😊
