Bleached hair / strange reaction - anyone experienced this?

Decided to go all over blonde, previously had balayage.
Have been fully blonde on numerous occasions however the last time was 8 years ago. All patch tests have been done for toners / colours.

First application everything was fine except sensitivity where my postpartum hair loss hasn't fully recovered (2 years later).

2nd application was a different stylist, same salon. I started to experience burning / intense itching on the palms of my hands. My scalp was ok, but my face and hands went lobster red - however around my eyes remained my usual skin colour. Stylist noticed we washed it off, took an antihistamine once I got home & was okay.

Another application, 7 weeks later (today) same stylist as the first application. She noticed within 15 mins my skin was doing the same thing, this time my arms resembled prickly heat, face lobster red but white around the eyes. We dealt with it immediately, she's now saying we can't bleach it again (understandably) as she won't risk it. I'm on no medication at all, late 20's. Unsure where to go from here & if she'll refuse to colour my hair at all again...

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this, professionally or personally and knows what the cause could be?

TIA x

I'd never had urticaria or hay fever until after I gave birth. It's probably linked.

I'm allergic to dye and bleach since pregnancy. Joy.

I have a fabulous hairdresser who does a kind of balayage for me using foils but nothing touches my scalp.

@longdistanceclaraclara how are you with toners / ammonia in them? It was strange as my scalp is totally fine, it was my skin elsewhere that wasn't!
