Spotting between periods

I’m 3 months postpartum and have had 2 periods. My first was fine but 3ish days after stopping bleeding I spotted again for a couple of days light blood. Told GP and she put it down to hormones as smears etc up to date. Had a pelvic ultrasound all looked okay. It just happened again after I tried to go back on my pill ( mini pill ) and had to stop after a few days due to severe migraines. Bled for longer stopped a couple days ago and just spotted again. I’m so scared. :(

If you've been on and off the pill then yes, that will lead to random bleeding. I'd give yourself a couple of months to settle down given you've already had investigations.

Thanks guys, actually woke up to a full blown period this morning. I’m guessing hormones too esp after starting and stopping the mini pill! I will mention to doc at my appt regardless x any recommendations on birth control?
