Reoccurring thrush and trying to get pregnant!

Feeling a bit meh.

I've been struggling with reoccurring thrush for over a year now. It just keeps coming back! My Dr has prescribed me with 6 months medication but we are "trying" for a baby, although not really trying because I keep getting thrush.

Dr suggested not using soaps, etc but I feel as if I'm doing as much as I can.

Does anyone find any probiotics or natural remedies work? I really don't want to go on a long course of meds, because the baby plans will have to go on hold and chances are once I stop it will just come back anyway 😢

You may be getting it from your partner. He should be treated, too.

I had reoccurring thrush due to a long course of antibiotics. The gp keep giving me antifungals, but it kept coming back until one gp prescribed me some lactic acid gel. It’s normally prescribed for BV, but in my case the antibiotics had affected my pH levels which the lactic acid gel sorted. I think it was called relactagel and I used it every night for a week, then every other night, then twice a week etc.

He usually treats himself when I do, anyway.
