Or give me advice for the before, during and after?
Earlier this year my consultant agreed to me having an ablation after years of heavy and limiting periods.
The consultant told me it would be the middle next year before I could have the procedure so I’ve put it to the back of my mind but I’ve had a letter today inviting me to go in mid-October for the surgery.
I’m a little anxious as there’s lots of negative stories online!
The letter says I’ll get a pre operative phone call to discuss general anaesthetic and recovery a week before surgery but any real life experiences would be appreciated.
