I’m 35 and until two months ago in a very regular normal cycle of 28 days. Then a couple months ago my period was brown, old looking blood, but I thought maybe just a one off. Next period last month was much lighter, again completely brown. A few days after finishing I started having spotting/discharge that was brown with an occasional pink bit.
I’m now day 33 no sign of any period but still spotting brown and have brown discharge. I seen the doctor a couple weeks ago and they checked my cervix and took a swab which came back normal.
She said I have to have three months of this before any request to gynae can be made.
Has anyone had this? What could it be?
I am 35, on no hormonal contraception, not pregnant and last smear was clear.
