Hopefully you can all calm me down!. I do suffer with health anxiety!
I have been on the patch contraception for nearly 10 years with no issues. Since march I have had 4 instances where I have a breakthrough bleed. This is a couple hours of brown spotting and then it just stops. It's usually around week 2 patch.
Has anyone had anything like this after years on a form of contraception?
Spoke to GP who said to come in for "swabs" to test for any infection etc but I don't have my symptoms of those..
He also said if they come back clear they will do a pelvic ultrasound to to be sure there's nothing going on. Although I'm grateful they are being thorough the thought of a pelvic ultrasound terrifies me!
