Termination of pregnancy NEC

Sorry if this is the wrong area but couldn't see anywhere obvious...

Basically I've been looking at my GP record on the Patient app and saw my abortion from 1999 on there as

'Termination of pregnancy NEC'

What does the NEC mean? I've googled and it gives impression that there was an issue with the fetus? I know it sounds odd seeing as I was terminating but I'm interested as know one ever spoke to me about this? Or does it mean something else??

Sometimes SystmOne used to use this code if the procedure isn’t mentioned again in the record. Not Elsewhere Classified. A medical secretary or GP admin might know better. I haven’t used a primary care system for eons.
