Very Anxious about complex cyst in breast

Hi everyone,

I had previously posted about having a clogged milk duct that has lasted for over 2 weeks. It's a big lump. Nothing was working so I went back to my doctor and asked for an ultrasound.

I went and did the ultrasound expecting it to be just a simple cyst but the radiologist came and and redid the test and said they want to further test it. She said she suspects it to be a galactocele but wasn't sure because there was a solid mass inside the cyst, which is considered a complex cyst and she wanted to get it aspirated and biopsied. When I asked her why are you doing the biopsy she said to check for everything including breast cancer....i blacked out.

I struggle with health anxiety and I'm so worried this is breast cancer. I'm a new first time mom this happened 3 weeks into breast feeding. My left breast also is hurting so I don't know if that's a good or bad sign.

I guess my question is has anyone had this and turned out benign? I just need some positive stories. I won't have the biopsy until august 12. Thank you!

@babyblue915819 can I ask what happened please? I have a complex cyst too and had it aspirated today but have to wait and see if it goes. If not, more tests with a biopsy. I’m really worried :-(
