I have endometriosis and the only things that really help the pain is a boiling hot bath and my TENS machine. The bleeding has just become another issue and I just have to deal with it but it’s improved since I’ve had my implant.

I know it’s sucks- and I wish there was something that made it manageable or better still a cure.

so sorry you are suffering too.

I had adenomyosis. Had horrendous problems with pain and bleeding. Longest stint was 3 years straight - ended with a hysterectomy. I hadn't tried HRT at that point but had tried the pill, the coil and tranexamic acid. You have my sympathy, it's absolutely shit.

And yeah for me bleeding for long periods is normal and ou can be really heavy - as in literally standing up and blood running down my legs

Mine can be 6weeks at a time and then less than a week break or I can go months with nothing.

I was offered a hysterectomy or an excision and I went for the excision- I was 32 at the time and went on to have another baby. I was offered it as the only real option to be pain free.
