On holiday and found a lump in my breast

In the shower first day of my holiday and found a large lump in my left breast. Feels about the size of a grape and feels firm. No pain or tenderness (which I know isn’t good) I am absolutely freaking out. Anyone been through anything similar or going through similar? Has anyone went private for investigations? Apparently locally it is taking about 4-6 weeks for people to get seen at the breast clinic.

Finally received an appointment today but it's still not until 4th September! That will be 4 weeks from seeing GP!

It’s not good is it but at least you have an appointment booked now. Wishing you lots of luck for next week.

Thank you @BoilingHotand50something. The waiting is torture but at the same time I don't want the day to come!

Update for anyone searching the threads like I was! I had my appointment today 4 weeks after seeing the GP and it's just a cyst. I actually found another one underneath it just on Sunday. First of all today I seen the doctor who started with my 'normal ' breast and said she could feel something 'deep' in that one and then felt the other breast (the one I had felt the lumps in) and confirmed she could feel them too. She said she thought it was most likely cysts but sent me for a mammogram (wasn't as bad as I was expecting!) and then seen the radiologist for an ultrasound who confirmed the cysts in both breasts.
