Left upper eyelid bigger than right one

Hi so I'm 27. I've noticed recently more in photos (if I pay attention fully) that my left upper eyelid is bigger than my right one?

Should I contact my GP about this. Never realised it before this badly. I do sleep mainly on my left.. Would sleeping on my right help overtime? As I've heard depending on your dominant sleeping side it makes it more hollow?

Ang tips and advice please as its making me so depressed and insecure :(

Picture below, anyone else have this issue?

I have this and I hate it, feel like it makes me face look lopsided haha
But I don't usually notice it day to day, only if I focus on it.
I don't think it's a medical issue or anything that can be fixed without surgery

I'm sorry this is making you depressed and insecure. I wonder if something else is going on for it to have that effect because it's really nothing that anyone will notice and not something to see a GP about. People's faces aren't symmetrical and that's okay. The more you fixate on this the more it'll bother you but that doesn't make it objectively an issue.

I have this - v much more noticeable in photos for some reason…

its v annoying. My mum has same and more pronounced, also has glaucoma so that’s something I keep checking regularly x

Do you have astigmatism in one eye? I do, and my eyes look different shapes and sizes.

Perhaps an opticians check up would set your mind at ease.

I have uneven eyes too. I wear one of those strip things on my smallest eye to make it look a bit bigger.

I get them from Amazon, think they're called eyelid lift strips or something like that. They take a bit of getting used to so you have to persevere, but they do work.

Not suggesting you shouldn't get it checked out, but it might help you feel a bit happier.

You have very lovely eyes!

Thank you for the compliment 🥹 I just bought those. But I'm struggling with how to do it as i don't know where to place it 😭

They do take some getting used to. I hold mine on one end with some pincer shaped tweezers, call that end A. Then I press end B into the crease of my eyelid next to my nose. Lastly, I use the tweezers (which are still holding end A) to guide it into place, right in the crease of my eyelid.

Hope that helps (and makes sense!).

Has it always been like this ? I only ask and don't want to panic you but this is how someone I know knew they had an issue which turned out to be a brain tumour
Obvs hers hadn't always been like that and was getting worse .
