I had a c section (emergency) 3 weeks ago today. Healing was going relatively well (pain aside) however on Saturday I noticed a small infection at one end of the scar where the stitch hasn't come out. It's come out this morning but it's red and sore. The doctor prescribed antibiotics which should hopefully help, however the pain which was improving is now back with full force, not only across the scar but the whole of my abdomen now feels tender when it didn't before. Is this normal? I've got an appointment with the nurse tomorrow to have it looked at and check if it needs to be dressed. It's more so knowing if the pain I'm in is normal as I'm still struggling to move round the house, let alone leave it at the moment and with a three year old as well and my husband going back to work next week I'll have no idea how I'll manage 😠looking for reassurance I guess for anyone who's been in the same position x
