Thrush, BV, PID?

Or none of the above?

I’ve had 2 miscarriages this year so I do appreciate that my body/hormones have been through a lot. My last smear test around 8 months ago was clear and my STI check is clear.

For the last 3 months I’ve been experiencing some uncomfortable symptoms. To begin with, I had bright green, very thick discharge. Now, for the last 2 months, it’s watery and thin. More yellow in colour.

I have done the self tests to check for thrush or BV and it always comes back slap bang in the middle so I use treatment for both (the pessaries you buy off the shelf) and, while it disappears, it can take a little while which is frustrating as it’s then back again the following month!

This month I’m now experiencing the same - watery, yellow discharge. It smells unpleasant. I’m bleeding slightly after sex and sex is giving me quite a lot of pain for around 10 minutes after, in my lower stomach.

what am I doing wrong? I haven’t changed anything. Clothes washing, shower gels etc I’m using the same products I always used. I have been wearing thongs more and wondered if that was somehow the cause but I can’t understand how!

im having frequent diarrhoea, perhaps twice a week for the last 6 weeks although I think that’s a separate issue.

help!

I don't belive that either thrush or BV is associated with a green discharge, I'd be down to the STI clinic today for a swab, it could be Trichomoniasis which can make you feel pretty crappy too. Good luck.

I should also add, again it may or may not be relevant, that I keep getting a patchy white, sore tongue too.

Have you been to the doctors instead of self testing? Thats lots of symptoms and the tongue indicates theres something
