Going on holiday on the 5th of August and I’ve had northisterone prescribed to delay my period. I’m 43 but my periods are still regular. Just wondered if anyone has a positive experience recently with these tablets? Due to take them on Wednesday, period would have been due next Sat/Sun x

I have used them before and had a good experience period stopped as needed then came a few days after the holiday, I think there is a risk of birth defects so just make sure there's no chance of pregnancy while using. You can get them easily with an online consultation from a pharmacy too

I've recently taken them because I'm going on holiday. I've taken them before with no problems and this time I have used them to move my cycle for my holiday early September. My period usually comes around 2-4 days after I've taken the last tablet.

Used them multiple times no problem just be prepared when you stop taking them and get your period it can be quite heavy and painful. Enjoy your holiday

Thanks for your responses! I’m hoping I don’t get any side affects. But my period is usually heavy first couple of days anyway. I just did nt fancy the hassle of it in a hot tub! x
