Urine dip stick test

Hi everyone

I have some lower back pain that us one sided. It felt better this morning but has got worse throughout the day. I wanted to rule out UTI/kidney infection but useless at reading stuff like this 🙈. Anyone able to read it? Hoping Ive just pulled something

You need to take a picture with the container twisted round to show what each square means. I can see by the top square you have leukocytes, but that can just be from contamination and not doing a totally clean capture. I can’t see which square relates to nitrates, if that is positive it’s definitely a uti, but everything looks normal to me other than the leukocytes.

All is normal on that test. Maybe just hurt your back if u dont have any other symptoms of uti?

The top one that's turned pink means you have leukocytes, which is an indicator of infection (uti). Speak to your local pharmacy who should be able to give you antibiotics.

Leukocytes look like they are showing positive in test which could mean UTI, but no protein or blood showing which is common in UTI.

The test should be read pretty quickly, may say on the tube when to read the different tests eg check protein in 30 secs and so on, as the test strips can change colour out of time.

Best also to get first morning urine sample for clearer reading if possible as urine stronger. All the best.
